Come join the Floresville Lions Club to spread kindness around town with our Kindness rock project!

1. Paint a kind saying or something inspirational on a rock

2. Leave in easy to find locations around town for others to find that it might brighten their day.
Leave the rock in a public place for other people to find. Neighborhood parks, schools, and other public places are all great options. Make sure that you leave the rocks in an easy-to-find place where they won't get in the way.

3. If you find a rock, take a picture of you with the rock where you found it and post it on the Floresville Lions Club Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FloresvilleLions

4. Then find a new place to put the rock that it may brighten someone else's day

December 2022 Market Updates

Come out and meet a NEW to the Market scene farmer -Shy Coyote Farms will be at the Dec 10th Floresville Community Christmas Market so come and get your veggies on!

As you go through your winter clothes and discover some no longer fit, bag them up and bring them down to the Market on Dec 10th and drop off those still nice, but gently used articles at the Lions tent! They are collecting Winter Wear to include coats, scarfs, mittens, hats, and even kid tennis shoes and blankets.
Lions will also be hosting a kids workshop make and take for kids sponsored by Home Depot---there will be lots of building and painting going on 😉

We are excited to be partnering with the Floresville High School Air Force JROTC and helping them collect Toy for Tots at our Dec 10th Market!
So bring those new, unwrapped toys and help the JROTC cadets reach their goal! As a thank you, you will be entered into a Market Gift Certificate give away!!!

We have added a Christmas cookie decorating booth hosted by Sweet Side Of Life Bakery
Kids can decorate a cookie for free! Yummmm!!
Live music with Dan Fyffe and the Grinch is popping in at 10am!!
Jail house will be open for tours and car club will be on site ... just a few additions to all that's already going on!!
It's going to be a super good time.... plus all the Courthouse decorations to peruse and take pics with too 😁

Hey Floresville Community Market Fans!
Guess what's the 2nd Saturday of October?
PEANUT FESTIVAL IS THE 2ND SATURDAY--THIS SATURDAY
So you guessed it, we will not be setting up our usual market, but there WILL BE vendors galore down on the courthouse square along with fun carnival rides all put on by the Peanut Festival Association so come on down Saturday and enjoy the festival.
Parade starts at 10 am and parking will be a BEAR lol... I highly recommend paying to park at the American Legion for safety and convivence. It's flat rate for all day (or until you leave) and it's just next door to where we usually have the market. Some roads will be closed and others will have floats all along them getting ready for the parade so plan extra time and bring your own chair to watch the parade.

Floresville Community Market is held every 2nd Saturday of each month and is an indoor/outdoor market held in historic downtown Floresville from 9 to 2:30pm.
Each market is filled with amazing local talent and local farmers as well as a few specialty vendors from around the San Antonio area and local organizations!
