The vision for the Floresville Community Market is to be a COMMUNITY focused market for vendor's and guest alike. Focusing on SHOP SMALL, SHOP LOCAL. We want to bring local talent and small businesses out for our community to shop from as well as bring in other unique and exciting items to keep the market exciting and new, but not to loose focus on supporting local first. We hope to make the 2nd Saturday a larger community experience with other downtown activities taking place that 2nd Sat and local downtown businesses taking advantage of the traffic our market brings and have local deals, etc. through our downtown businesses.
What we are all about!
- Local Shopping fun in old downtown Floresville every 2nd Saturday of the month amidst historic buildings and small town shops with that small town charm! The Floresville Community Market is held every 2nd Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1140 C Street in Historic downtown Floresville on the lawn of the Wilson County Courthouse and near the Jailhouse museum. We are a rain or shine market and any possible changes to our market dates will be posted
- We are delighted to bring out and introduce to our community some of our amazing local home based businesses that you will only find at events like this!
- We invite you to come check out, meet, support & shop from our amazingly talented local vendors, small businesses and neighbors!
- You will find great gift items from home décor, farmer products, plants, eggs, jams, hand poured candles, Scentsy, various types of jewelry to include fine, handmade & snap jewelry, wreaths, woodwork of all kinds, yard art, bath & body, homemade baked goods & soaps, boutique clothing, peanut brittle, purses & bags, health & beauty items, kids books, Home baked goods, and LOTS lots more! Lots of great finds and gift giving items and small town fun!
- We always have a variety of returning vendors, plus some new vendors with new products you don’t want to miss every single month!
- We enjoy supporting local organization's fundraisers and community collections! We have helped the local Lion's club with fundraising, local JROTC collect Toys for Tots, Young entrepreneurs with free booths, local businesses advertise and we are always on the look out for more "Giving Back" community opportunities!
- Part of the proceeds go to renovating this site for our community.
